Funko Pops: The Ultimate Fun!
I came across these fabulous creatures around Christmas 2016, when my partner, Englsi rock musician Kev Moore, received one from his son. It was Phantom, from the comics of The Phantom. We both fell in love at once with these dolls. Well, i call them dolls, but they are not really dolls. They cannot be dolls really, as me, as a Tomboy, always hated dolls.Anyway, last year we then bought some more, but this was it. for some reason tin 2017, a month before Christmas we were confronted with them again, and this is when we becae addicted to them. We both. Now, not true, we three. My teddy bear truffle McFurry is also addicted, and gets his owns!
I haven’t a collector soul as such. When I collect i don’t like to exhibit my pieces, I like to play with them, to use them, to touch them. Simply to live with them. And if possible, to paint them. Which is why I started painting some of our Funk Pops recently! They are delightful as models.
These paintings of funko pops, and more, are available directly online as Giclee print in many different dimensions, on paper, canvas or metal, and also as greeting cards and many home décor items. Please click on each image to go to my shop online.
